PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, accurately and efficiently form partition walls for plasma display panel and each phosphor layer of inner walls of discharging cells partitioned by the partition wall with the same process. SOLUTION: A partition wall material layer 11 is formed on a glass substrate 10, and a fluorescent material layer 12 is formed on the partition wall material layer 11, and a photosensitive material layer 13 is formed. The photosensitive material layer 13 is exposed and developed by a predetermined pattern to form grooves 14 at positions corresponding to the partition walls. The grooves 14 become a mold for use in forming a partition wall. The partition wall material layer 12 is pressurized for deformation, and the partition wall material 11A is pressed into the grooves 14 of the photosensitive material layer 13, and the fluorescent material 12A is made to penetrate the partition wall material 11A. The photosensitive material layer 13 is burned to be eliminated through heat decomposition, while the partition wall material is sintered to form partition walls 16 formed with a phosphor layer 17 in the inner wall of each cell 18. |
