A medical infusion stand has a central load-bearing column resting on a central pedestal base with outwards-directed recesses (3), to which a number esp. 5 of legs (2) are push-fitted. The root of each leg (2) is retained by a cover and clip, clamped in place by a central locking bolt. Each leg has a castor (5).
