PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for separation of plasma or serum and an effective manufacturing method of the same, a method that can mix the compostion homogeneously and prevent the non-uniform dispersion, which causes a flow or phase separation of the composition due to declining thixotropy, of a powdery material such as fine powdery silica. SOLUTION: A mixing part mixes homogeneously each component of a composition for separation of serum or plasma by making each constituting component of the composition forcibly pass through a prescribed gap 9 in a mixing device. This mixing device is composed of two discal bodies 5 and 6 that are closely facing each other. Also, at least either one of the discal bodies 5 or 6 has an inlet 7 and a part between the flat-faced parts of the two facing discal bodies 5 and 6 has a prescribed gap 9. Also, at least one of these two facing discal bodies 5 and 6 is made rotatable. |
