PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: At an isolated island or a desert area, seawater is desalinated to utilize as drinking water. The cost of desalination is very high and desalinated water cannot be used almost substantially except as drinking water. But seawater can be regarded as a kind of culture soln. containing various kinds of nutrient salts well-balancedly except presence of sodium chloride in high concn. Accordingly to remove sodium chloride from seawater at a low cost and to utilize obtained desalinated water as a culture solution, a liquid fertilizer and agricultural water. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing the culture soln. the liquid fertilizer and the agricultural water from the seawater, the seawater is subjected to a zeolite treatment and an anion exchanger resin treatment or a chitosan treatment. In a method for utilizing the seawater, the culture soln. obtained from the seawater by this method is used as the culture soln. for aquiculture, plant tissue culture, microorganism and animal cell, the obtained liquid fertilizer is used as a fertilizer and the obtained agricultural water is used as irrigation water. |
