<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive composition suitable to bond a polymer layer capable of being formed into a retort pouch for a food or a pharmaceutical usage by forming the adhesive composition out of the first part comprising a specific polyester, a specified resin and the like, and the specific second part. SOLUTION: The objective composition is composed of (A) the first part comprising a compound of (i) about 50-99 wt.% polyester liquid at 20 deg.C, having 2-2.1 hydroxyl functional value and about 50-300 hydroxyl value and further having a hydroxy group at the terminal, with (ii) about 1-50 wt.% epoxy resin solid at 20 deg.C, having about 500-3,000 epoxy equivalent and about 100-250 hydroxyl value and dissolved in the component (i), and (iii) up to about 0.05 wt.% isocyanate hardening catalyst based on the amount of the compound of the components (i) with (ii), and (B) the second part regulated so as to have about 0.9-3.0 NCO/OH ratio based on the total hydroxyl functional value of the components (i) and (ii) and including a polyfunctional value isocyanate having 2 to about 4 isocyanate functional value.</p> |
