摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication network capable of preventing the deterioration of the quality of optical signals, when these signals are amplified by an optical fiber amplifier and relayed. SOLUTION: A master center MS has 64QAM modulation subjected to multiple digital video signals of three channels, analog video signals of four channels and digital server video signals of four channels respectively, and then multiplexes the frequency of these signals to produce multiple QAM signals of eleven channels. Then the multiple QAM signals are converted into optical signals and sent to an optical transmission line. General degree of modulation (M) is set in a range of 37% to 45% to prevent the influence of Brillouin scattering with regard to the multiple QAM signals of eleven channels and also to prevent the effects of cvermodulation, when these QAM signals are converted into the optical signals.
