PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from forgetting to reset automatic transfer by displaying whether or not the automatic transfer is set when a list of received mails is displayed. SOLUTION: When the upper performs instructing operation, a list display part 110 of a mail client 107 is connected to a mail box 102 of a mail server 101 through a communication control part 109 and displays a list of received mails sent at a request to acquire the list of received mails arriving at the address of the user. An automatic transfer setting part 112 is connected to an automatic transfer control part 103 of the mail server 101 through the communication control part 109 is response to the user instruction operation and sends a setting or resetting request for automatic transfer as to the address of the user to make the automatic transfer control part 103 set or reset the automatic transfer. An automatic transfer setting state display part 111 is connected to the automatic transfer control part 103 of the mail server 101 through the communication control part 109 to acquire and display information showing the automatic transfer at the designated address.
