PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly exchange condition of cooperative motion of a moving unit for knitting such as a yarn feeder and the like. SOLUTION: The yarn feeder 6 can be held at a holding mechanism 11 and attached and detached to a holder 9. The holder 9 is installed to the tip side of a holding arm 14. A carriage 3 of the holding arm 14 is held by a moving unit-holding mechanism 15. The moving unit-holding mechanism 15 is equipped with an exchange mechanism 16 of cooperative condition and can exchange the cooperative condition between the carriage 3. The exchange mechanism 16 of cooperative condition acts on a link site 17 of the carriage 3 and, as described later, can shift a cooperative position of the moving unit-holding mechanism 15 to the carriage 3 or exchange to a non-cooperative condition. An orbit 18 is installed so as not to change positions of a yarn feeder 6 and the like when the moving unit-holding mechanism15 is separated from the carriage 3.
