The double-belt conveyor assembly has two belts with their working levels (4a,5a) pressed together. The carrier structure is composed of separate and pre-assembled modules to be bolted together. A box module, for the longitudinal stretches, holds the belts apart in a self-supporting module structure. It has rectangular carrier frames (6) with sprung holders (11) for the belt (4a,4b,5a,5b) support rollers (12). Lateral carriers (20) with unsprung roller holders (21) for the remaining belt (4a,4b,5b) support rollers (23,24). Module bonding plates (8) are bolted at the ends (7a,7b) of the side profiles, which support the projections (6a) of the carrier frames (6).
