摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which safety and workability are improved, and a metal processing jig to be heated is efficiently heated and kept warm by constituting a planar heating unit as a heating unit in a manner to be adhered to the metal processing jig so that it may be freely attached or detached. SOLUTION: Before the forging operation is started, a planar heating unit 2 is adhered as firmly as possible by hand to a side face 3 of each upper and lower forging mold 1 which is in the state of being mounted to a forging equipment 6. Then, by operating a control equipment, a current is conducted to the planar heating unit 2 and the forging mold 1 is preheated. Next, the planar heating unit 2 is peeled off from the forging mold 1, the forging equipment 6 is set in motion and the forging operation is started. The forging operation can be efficiently started if the forging equipment 6 is kept in motion after the preheating so that it may be operated any time. As the system is constituted like this, the metal processing jig heating thermostat of excellent workability and safety is obtained which can preheat and keep warm the forging mold 1 only by adhering the planar unit 2 to the forging metal mold 1 by hand and conducting a current.</p>
