<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield of the liquid crystal display device and to make the frame narrow by efficiently laying out a driving circuit on the active matrix substrate. SOLUTION: A driving circuit for scanning wiring and a driving circuit for signal wiring are provided at the periphery of a display area of the active matrix substrate. The driving circuits are so constituted that elements 30c forming respective circuit parts are on the substrate 1 side of an inter-layer insulating film 9, and connecting wiring 7 connecting the elements 30c, redundant wiring, power supply wiring, and clock wiring of the driving circuits, etc., are formed of the same conductive film with pixels electrodes on the inter-layer insulating film 9. Therefore, the circuit area does not increase unlike the formation of connection wiring, redundant wiring, power supply wiring, clock wiring, etc., using the same conductive film with a gate signal line and a source signal line.</p> |
