PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly calculate rotating speed while making constant detection accuracy regardless of whether the rotating speed is fast or slow. SOLUTION: A digital signal that is angle data A of an electric motor M is generated by a rotary angle sensor 11 consisting of a resolver 11a and an R/D converter 11b. The angle data A are latched from the rotary angle sensor 11 at each 250 μs, the amount of angle change ΔA is calculated from previous latch angle data A(n-1) and current latch angle data A(n), and data for four times are stored in a four-layer buffer. The stored data in the four-laver buffer are transferred in blocks at each 1 ms and speed is calculated from 16 amount of angle change ΔA(N-15)-ΔA(N) at each 4 ms by a CPU 13. |
