PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an image quality after developing by performing the image processing in widely correctly detecting the image density from low density coming to the high density. SOLUTION: This device is allowed to form a thin layer of the liquid developer 90 on a developing belt 43. The device is allowed to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor 1 by transferring the liquid developer 90 on the developing belt 43 to the electrostatic latent image on the electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor 1. A part of the liquid developer 90 on the developing belt 43 is transferred on a transferring body 47 by applying the transfer voltage switched stepwise to a transferring body 47 rotated while held in contact with the developing belt 43. The (γ) correction is made possible to perform by detecting the image density by the liquid developer 90 transferred on the transferring body 47 by the respective transferring voltage with use of the density sensor 48. |
