A thermoelectric generation unit, wherein the destruction of a thermoelectric element by lateral and longitudinal loads on the element is prevented and a structure of good heat conduction efficiency is obtained. The unit structure comprises a frame (109) and a support provided around a thermoelectric element (106), a heat absorbing plate (104) and a radiation plate (111) fixed to an upper or lower portion of the frame (109) and the support, and a heat conductive buffer member (110) filled between the thermoelectric element (106) and the heat absorbing plate (104) or the radiation plate (111).
