The cable branch point formation method has the protection sleeve enclosing the optical fiber cable removed over a given length and the cable outer mantle opened to allow required optical fibers to be fed out from the cable, for splicing to corresponding optical fibers of a branch cable, before closing the mantle openings in both the main cable and the branch cable via cable cuffs. |
