<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an improper paper discharge such as folding, dispersion, or jaming of large-sized sheets which are inverted, conveyed and loaded on a paper discharge tray, and to securely contact the sheets, which are discharged on a movable paper-discharge plate, on a sheet-stop surface to thereby true them up. SOLUTION: The subject device is so composed that a sheet P, on which an image is already formed and which is carried out from an image forming device, is grasped on its both sides, inverted and conveyed by a sheet inversion/ conveyance drum 4, and then discharged on a paper discharge tray 21 which is movable upward and downward. In this case, a sheet loading surface of the paper discharge tray 21 is established as such a slanted surface that the down-stream side is higher than the upper-stream side in the sheet-discharging direction, and also a slanted angle of the slanted surface against a horizontal surface is set up below 35 deg..</p> |
