PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller, in which the fluctuations of control power due to frequency difference of a commercial power supply are suppressed and an electric apparatus employing it. SOLUTION: A controller comprises a means 17 for detecting current flowing through an electric load 2 while being fed with power from a commercial power supply 1, a means 13 for controlling power supply to the load 2 depending on the output from the current detecting means 17, and a means 18 for substantially equalizing the output from the current detecting means 17 at two frequencies (50 Hz and 60 Hz) of the commercial power supply 1. According to the arrangement, power consumption can be controlled with high accuracy, regardless of the power supply frequency when power supply to the load is controlled, depending on the output from the current detecting means 17. |
