PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up rising on startup and to prevent overshooting from occurring in a device for boosting an input voltage and hence driving the primary side of a transformer, and then outputting a high-voltage AC from the secondary side of the transformer. SOLUTION: An FETQ1 is switched by a PWM circuit 1, and an input voltage Vcc is boosted through an inductor L1. Then, a voltage Vc after boosting via a diode D1 and a capacitor C1 is inputted to a full-bridge circuit 3 consisting of transistors Q4-Q7, and the transistors Q4-Q7 are turned on and off by an oscillation circuit 2 and an AC is supplied to the primary side of a transformer T1, thus generating a high-voltage AC output S and P at the secondary side of the transformer T1. In this case, the voltage Vc after boosting is detected and at the same time an output voltage Vs is detected, and the detected voltages are compared with a reference voltage Vr for controlling so as to reach a target value. |
