Height adjustable bridging profile for floor covering

A bridging profile for a floor covering has a fitted U-shaped flexible height adjustment element (3). A one-piece bridging profile, especially of wood, in the form of a sealing, joint or compensation profile for a floor covering and comprising a solid or hollow central section (1) with one or two adjoining cover sections (2), has a U-shaped height adjustment element (3) which is fitted on the central section (1) and which consists of a base (4) and perpendicular elastic sides (5, 5'). An Independent claim is also included for a one-piece bridging profile/fastening system consisting of the above bridging profiles and U-shaped height adjustment elements, together with fasteners (screws, plugs).
