摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fuel injection to be properly performed even when there is dispersion in the performances of respective mechanisms for supplying fuel from a fuel injection pump to respective cylinders. SOLUTION: In the fuel injection process starting at the time when a toothless part provided at a rotary gear is passed through, which cylinder (the Nth cylinder) is the toothless part passed, is recognized (s120 to s140), and the quantities to be correctedΔθ1N toΔθ3N applied to the recognized cylinder is calculated (s150). Then, further, the quantities to be correctedΔθ1N toΔθ3N are determined in consideration of the operating environment (s160), and optimum command valuesθ1 toθ3 for the Nth cylinder are determined (s170). Based on the command valuesθ1 toθ3 thus obtained, a solenoid spill valve is opened or closed (s180 to s230), thus uniform pilot characteristics can be realized, and various defective conditions caused by dispersion in the pilot characteristics between cylinders can be prevented.
