<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of a lightning rod in a lightning arrester which can eliminate welding work at lightning arrester installation site, and joint and fix an upper part supporting pipe to a lower part supporting pipe exactly with simple operation by a general worker. SOLUTION: This structure consists of an upper part supporting pipe 1 which involves a screw for jointing a lightning rod 3 at its upper part, and a screw 4 for jointing it to a lower part supporting pipe at its lower end part, and a lower part supporting pipe 2 having an inner diameter which permits the upper part supporting pipe 1 to be inserted. A pipe joint 6 involving a fitting screw 5 which is fitted to the jointing screw 4 of the upper part supporting pipe 1 is fixed inside the lower part supporting pipe 2. This structure is formed so that a reducer 8 formed with a jointing means 7 for fixing the upper end part of the lower part supporting pipe 2 and the upper part supporting pipe 1 inserted in it so as to be capable of being inserted and extracted may be fixed integrally with the upper end of the lower part supporting pipe 2.</p> |
