Sensors (12,13) detect the magnetic field due to a magnet (10) which is attached to a moving object (11). The outputs (VC1,VC2) are connected to the positive and negative terminals of a differential amplifier (20) and also to comparators (21,22). The comparators compare the sensor signals with thresholds to confirm presence of the object which is then located by zero amplifier output at half way between the sensors. |
