PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ventilation from deteriorating due to local frosting by providing a double inclination winglet having a fixed angle of attack on the end face of heat transfer fin of an air-cooled heat exchanger and a constant inclination angle on the fin face on the upstream side where the air flows in thereby sustaining high performance. SOLUTION: A cut is made in the fin face which is then bent partially to provide an angle of attackγand double inclination winglets having an inclination angleβon the mother material of fin 5 are arranged continuously along the end face of fin. The air traversing a heating tube insertion port 3 is bent rearward by a rear winglet 4b and the dead zone of water drop adhering to the heating tube and the lower surface thereof is decreased. The downstream section of the center of fin accelerates heat transfer through the rear winglet 4b and the quantity of frost is increased. In particular, the dead zone in the rear of the heating tube is frosted by longitudinal vortexes generated by the rear winglet 4b and the problems, e.g. clogging of ventilation passage and deterioration of ventilation, can be solved while sustaining high heat transfer performance.
