PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate identifying plural screens by making effective use of a display using a user interface. SOLUTION: A recording device 03, which is provided with a display 02 or a display 03 which changes over displays of a function setting screen, and displays contents related to the choices by using a display 01 for a user interface and selecting at least one of the choices displayed on the function setting screen, on condition that there is no operation for a predetermined time, in a state in which contents related to the display 01 are displayed, comprises a first display control means 04 for deleting a display on the screen, a display return input accepting means 05 for accepting a display return input of display after deleting a picture being displayed on the screen, a second display control means 06 for displaying a picture for initial setting when a display return input is accepted by the display return input accepting means. |
