PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sliding surface of a thrust bearing from being damaged, and to make reading work of a pressure gauge by a worker unnecessary by removing magnetic substances from lubricating oil for thrust bearing. SOLUTION: Lubricating oil 7 to be supplied to a thrust bearing section 3 of a rotating electric machine is circulated by a circulating pump 12, and foreign matters in the lubricating oil 7 are recovered with a strainer 13. Magnetic substances are selected from the foreign matters recovered by the strainer 13, and limit values are set for the magnitude and weight of the magnetic substances, and flushing is repeated as many times as necessary until the limiting values are satisfied. |
