System which consists of two plate/connecting rod/pedal subsystems located, respectively, on the left and right side of the longitudinal axis of the bicycle, forming the connection and anchoring of a bent connecting rod to the corresponding plate via a point which is displaced with respect to the central axis of rotation of said plates, consisting of conventional means of connection to the corresponding pedal, means of connection and anchoring of said bent connecting rod to the corresponding plate via said point which is off-centre with respect to its central axis of rotation, and also means for support, securing and fastening on said elbow (bend) which are suitable for allowing said connecting rod to rest on the rotational shaft of said plate. <IMAGE>
