PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism immobilized carrier separator capable of easily separating a microorganism immobilized carrier and treated water and capable of easily adpating an existing activated sludge treatment equipment to an equipment using the microorganism immobilized carrier and a waste water treatment apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: A flow rate accelerating zone consisting of a guide plate 5 inclined in order to guide introduced treated water to a carrier separation zone 7 and the inclined barrier plate 3 provided in parallel to the guide plate 5 and accelerating the flow rate of treated water 2 is provided. If this microorganism immobilized carrier separator is used, the carrier can be easily separated from the treated water and, since an existing active sludge equipment can be used in combination without being remodeled, this equipment can be easily adapted to a waste water treatment equipment using the microorganism immobilized carrier.
