Maintains at a set value the relationship between the braking couple and the braking force produced by the driver. The brake servo system includes means (5,6) designed to regulate the pressure at the braking unit (2), as a function of the braking couple measured at the unit, so as to maintain at a constant set value the resultant coefficient resulting from the relationship between the braking force exerted by the driver and the braking couple, in order to have a deceleration which is strictly proportional to the braking force. The pressure regulating means are selected to detect the variations of the coefficient of friction. The means (5) is linked to a system (6) designed to temporarily regulate the pressure sent to the braking unit so as to reset the equilibrium between the braking couple and the braking force controlled by the driver. |
