PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a DC voltage control device in which a change in a DC voltage is suppressed sufficiently, by a method wherein the control constant of a variable control computing unit and the limit value of a variable limiter are set by using the output of a DC voltage judgment circuit. SOLUTION: A DC voltage judgment circuit 1 judges whether a present DC voltage is in a steady state, whether the DC voltage is in a transient state in which the DC voltage is changed due to a sudden change in a load or the like or whether the DC voltage is in a halfway transition state which is returned to the steady state from the transition state. In addition, a computing unit 2 computes a differenceΔVdc between a DC-voltage command Vdc * and an actual DC voltage Vdc . The differenceΔVdc is input to a variable control computing unit 3, and its output is used as a DC-voltage control signal pav through a variable limiter 4. Then, according to the judgment of the DC-voltage judgment circuit 1, the control constant of the variable control computing unit 3 and the limit value of the variable limiter 4 are decided. Thereby, it is possible to restrain a change in a DC voltage to be small.
