The invention relates to a distributing blower (10) for chemical substances, especially plant protectants, used in agriculture and forestry comprising two blower units (40, 42) arranged on an equipment frame. Said blower units each have a blower housing and a radial running wheel (48) which is rotationally driven around a running wheel axle by a drive mechanism, whereby the radial running wheel (48) together with the blower housing generates a blower air stream which is formed in the blower housing. After entering through a housing outlet opening, the blower air stream forms a distributing air stream for the chemical substances, said distributing air stream widening only in one total stream direction. The distributing air streams generated by the blower units (40, 42) widen in varying total stream directions. In order to improve such a distributing blower, a highly uniform distribution of the plant protectants can be obtained such that the blower air streams in the blower units have a varying direction of rotation relative to the respective running wheel axle.
