MAGNETIC TONER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner having excellent electrification property and transfer property and enough fixing strength. SOLUTION: This magnetic toner consists of at least toner mother particles and inorg. fine powder. The toner mother particles are produced by melting and kneading at least a binder resin, magnetic material and wax by using a screw extrusion kneading machine equipped with a feeding screw part and at least one kneading part. When the temp. of the kneaded material at the discharge port of the melt-kneading machine is T1 ( deg.C), the viscosity of the wax is 12 to 30 mPa.s at the temp. T1 ( deg.C).
