PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device whose usability is improved by always grasping and displaying at least either of the total amount of developer in a developing means and the recovery amount of residual by a cleaning means. SOLUTION: A processor 3 detects an angle obtained by rotating a feeding member 8 from starting the feeding operation of the member 8 until light from a light emitting element 14 is not received by a light receiving element 15, and decides the total amount of the developer in a developing device 2 at the time of detecting the angle from relation between the detected angle and the total amount of the developer in the device 2 at the time of detecting the angle. Next, the total amount of the developer decided is displayed on a display part 4. |
