CRASH BOX IN AUTOMOBILE BUMPER BEAM ASSEMBLY

摘要

PURPOSE: A car crash box is provided to simultaneously satisfy required performance of offset test and barrier test by supporting strong impact force after securing ideal impact energy efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A car crash box comprises a front board member(110), a back member(120), an outside support member(130), and an inner side support member(140). The front board member is connected to a bumper beam. The back member is connected to the member. Outside and inside support members interlink the front and back members, respectively. The inner side support member is located contiguous to the outside support member. Outside and inner side support member comprise upper and lower horizontal walls(142) and vertical walls. Inner edges of the upper and lower horizontal walls are inclined toward the front center from the rear side.
