PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control efficiently the scattering direction of ink mist generated by the ink jet, and prevent the stain in a recording device and the deposition of ink mist which causes defective operation. SOLUTION: A recording head 1 which jets ink and records on a recording paper is mounted on a carriage 2 supported freely slidably on a carriage shaft 3. The recording paper is carried in the direction vertical to the moving direction of a carriage 2 by a paper feed roller 202 and a carrying roller 102. Air is blown toward the paper feed roller 202 and the carrying roller 102 by a blowing fan 40. |
