PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the soiling of a transfer roller by toner in a state between paper sheets without lowering throughput by changing the duty of developing voltage between the continuous paper sheets. SOLUTION: When an engine controller receives a printing instruction from a host, a photoreceptor drum is driven to be rotated first and electrification is made on. Next, a laser is turned on in timing when a position where negative charge is applied by the electrification comes to a laser irradiating position, and development is made on at a position where the laser is turned on. When the toner applied by the development comes to a transfer position, recording paper is precedently fed so that the recording paper comes to the transfer position. In such a case, the duty is changed at the specified rate only between the paper sheets. Then, duty control is switched in the same manner as in the case of adjusting density with PWM output in the engine controller. Thus, an excellent image without soiling a back surface is obtained. |
