<p>PURPOSE:To enable cleaning of face plate with the cathode ray tube being incorporated in the device, by allowing the cathode ray tube to advance to and retreat from the recording body surface freely, and allowing to move to the operating position and maintenance position thereof. CONSTITUTION:A supporting base 2 to support a cathode ray tube 1 is fitted in a manner free to advance to and retreat from a photoreceptor a on a bed 3 secured to the machine frame, and there is a band part 2b to fasten the cathode ray tube 1 firmly to the base 2 and guide groove 3a to receive a slider 2a provided on the bottom of the supporting base 2. A swinging bell crank 9 is borne on a fixed bearing fitted to the bed 3 or machine frame, and a roller 9a is provided on the arm end of the upper part to be in contact with the back side of a fall piece 2c provided in the central part behind the base 2. A spring 11 acts on the lower arm and provides clockwise rotating force, which causes the free end of the arm to contact with a second cam 10. Thus, cleaning is possible without removing the tube.</p> |
