PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce oscillation to be transmitted from the bearing part of a rotary polygon mirror to an optical box. SOLUTION: A bearing 2 for rotatably supporting a rotary shaft 3 united with a rotary polygon mirror 1 has a pair of upper and lower ball bearings 22a, 22b, a sleeve 21 for holding these ball bearings 22a, 22b and a housing 20 for supporting an intermediate part excluding both the end parts of the sleeve 21 and the intermediate part of the sleeve 21 is stuck to the housing 20 by adhesives 24. The oscillation of an optical box 11 is reduced by preventing the propagation of oscillation of the ball bearings 22a, 22b from both the end parts of the sleeve 21 diectly to the housing 20. |
