PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deterioration of S/N that is caused by the dark current of a solid state image pickup device. SOLUTION: An effective pickup screen (hatching part) included in an image pickup screen is divided into two areas 0 and 1. The image data I0 are outputted from the area 0 via the shift registers 10 and 11, an amplifier 12 and an A/D converter 13. Meanwhile, the image data I1 are outputted from the area 1 via the shift registers 14 and 15, an amplifier 16 and an A/D converter 17. These outputted image data are stored in each frame memory. |
