FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: method relates to protection of coastal structures from damage inflicted by stormy sea waves. According to method, water mass receives equal and oppositely directed velocities: at surface it is towards coast, and at bottom zone direction is towards sea. Power effect is achieved by means of rotation system with blades. Application of aforesaid method allows for disturbing waving process with creation of additional hydraulic resistance and this makes suppression of wave energy more resultative. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
