Generation of enlarged image

The unit has a base onto which is placed the object e.g. a document (17). This is illuminated by a pair of lights (15) and a video camera (21) is used to obtain image data. This is fed into a field memory that is sub divided into buffer sectors . The processing operation takes place synchronously and allows an enlarged image to be generated.
