PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a homogenate which can give the useful vaccine in preventions of clinical diseases and miscariage in mammalians caused by a pathogenic protozoan neospora by being prepared from cells of neospora. SOLUTION: This homogenate is prepared from cells of neospora and induces the protective response against neospora diseases in mammalians. Further, it is preferable that the neospora species is N.caninum, particularly caninum NC-1 strain, the objective homogenate is prepared from the tachyzoite of neospora and the vaccine is produced from an immunologically effective amount of the objective homogenate and a veterinaryly permissible substrate. |
