Production of surface-structured substrates used in the manufacture of electronic components

Surface-structured substrates are produced using a core-shell polymer system film modified with metal compounds. Production of surface-structured substrates comprises: (a) taking up a polymer in a suitable solvent forming a dissolved core-shell polymer system; (b) charging a part of the polymer core with one or more metal compounds; (c) applying the core-shell polymer system as a film to one side of a substrate; and (d) removing a part of the polymer of the core-shell polymer system producing metal clusters and/or clusters of metal compounds on the substrate surface without changing the structure formed by the core-shell polymer system.
