METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING SCSI DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SCSI data transfer method which eliminates delay of data transfer and performs transfer data processing on an upper layer very well. SOLUTION: At least more than two kinds of logical units LUNa and LUNb, including a specific logical unit LUNb which is allocated to transfer only the final part of transfer data are preliminarily allocated in a SCSI(small computer system interface) connection in which the maximum transfer amount of burst transfer is defined in one command description block, and a host device side 1 divides data into plural parts by maximum transfer quantityαexcept the final part when transfer data quantity N is larger thanαand transfers data as transfer from the LUNa. Data which includes the final part of the transfer data has a process to transfer as the LUNb and a process to output held data when a device 2 side successively holds transferred data and decides that the data is transferred from the LUNb.
