摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop repetition of an excessive increase in temperature through a gradual temperature decrease in a heat storage material by a method wherein when cutoff operation of the excessive increase of temperature preventing device is detected by an abnormality detecting means, a heater switch is controlled to an OFF-state and with the switch brought into an OFF-state, energization heating is stopped. SOLUTION: A heat storage material, such as a heat storage water 20, is contained in a heat storage container 19, a temperature sensor 14 is closely adhered on the outer peripheral surface of the container 19, and a heater 21, a bimetal thermo 22 for preventing the excessive increase of temperature, a heater switch 23, and a power source 24 are interconnected in series on the outer peripheral surface to form a heater energizing circuit. A control device 26 consists of a microprocessor and connected to the temperature sensor 14 through a bimetal thermo 27. The heater 23 is controlled to an ON-state or an OFF-state such that the detecting temperature of heat storage water 20 is adjusted to a value within a set temperature range. When the bimetal thermo 22 effects cutoff operation, the switch 23 is brought into an OFF-state, whereby even when the switch is normally closed again, energization heating is stopped and repetition of the excessive increase of the temperature of the heat storage water 20 is prevented from occurring.
