<p>A milling tool comprises a rotatable supporting body (1) having detachable cassettes (5) upon which cutting inserts (6) are mounted, said cutting inserts (6) being provided with cutting edges. Two serrated surfaces (9, 10) are provided in order to connect the individual cassette (5) with the supporting body (1), a first one (9) of said serrated surfaces being located upon the periphery of the supporting body and facing outwards from the supporting body while the other serrated surface (10) is formed at an inner side of the cassette. By this location of the cassettes the supporting body may be equipped with an increased number of cassettes compared to what has been possible in connection with prior art.</p> |
