The cardboard or paper insertion lid (1) for a can (2) has a contact region (5) that can be pressed against the inside of the can body. Before insertion, the lid is a little bigger than the can aperture (4). On fitting, the contact region is elastically deforms so that the closing surface (3) fits against the inside of the can body. The closing surface has spring properties enabling elastic deformation in the contact region. The cylinder sector (6) is rolled in to form a gripping rib (6b). |
