A novel bird feeder is provided herein. The bird feeder includes a cylindrical enclosure including an upper ring, a lower ring, a plurality of spaced-apart longitudinally-extending wires extending between the upper ring and the lower ri ng, and a plurality of spaced-apart encircling wires traversing the longitudinally wires . This provides bird entry portals of a first selected size to permit entry and exit of selected desirable birds of a selected desired size. An open bottom floor is provided by a plurality of mutually-transverse wires to provide openings of that first selecte d size. A selectively-removable, solid cylindrical cover rests atop the upper ring for rem ovable securement atop the cylindrical enclosure by means of a plurality of cooperative latches. An eyelet/hook combination is securely suspended from an interior face of the so lid cylindrical cover for suspending a mass of bird food within the cylindrical encl osure. Additional portals are provided by a hingedly-removable door which is defined by a rectangular wire frame and mutually-transverse wires connected thereto. The addi tion portals are of a second selected size which is larger than the first selected si ze. Chains, or the like, are provided for hanging the bird feeder from a suitable support.
