<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for treating garbage by using a silo type digestion tower in which leachate generated from garbage is treated and also effective utilization thereof is achieved and residue treatment is easily performed. SOLUTION: Garbage 5 is charged into a silo type digestion tower 1, liquefied and oxidized in the inside of the digestion tower 1. Generated leachate is sent into a methane fermentation tank and also residue is discharged from the bottom and separated into leachate and stained refuse by a dehydrator 17. Strained refuse is sent into a compost producing machine to form compost. Leachate 6 separated by the dehydrator is sent into a methane fermentation tank 10 together with the above-mentioned leachate 6. Dissolved organic substance is gasified and the generated gas 11 is utilized as fuel for a generator and a boiler or the like. A part of waste liquid 12 is heated and supplied to the silo type digestion tower 1 and made useful in enhancement of digestion efficiency of garbage 5 and in sterilization of pathogenic fungi or the like.</p> |
