The apparatus has a radiation slot (14) in the conducting wall (12) opposite another radiation slot (15), the former slot exhibits the same form and extension as the latter slot. An electrically conducting seal (19) is in electrical contact with another wall (11) and the former wall is around the two radiation slots. The seal abuts the walls so that an electrically closed frommthe environment cavity (10) is created between the two walls. Through this cavity microwave energy is transferred between the transmission conductor devices.
