PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the fear of occurrence of a fire while using a heater and apply the recess and projection processing with good heating efficiency. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method for a thermoplastic decorative sheet in which the thermoplastic decorative sheet S is softened while being heated and a recessed and projected pattern is formed by bringing a metal roll 1 with the recessed and projected pattern into contact with a rubber roll 2, a heating means 4 formed of the assembly of a heater 5 and a heat collecting member 6 is used, and the heat from the heater 5 is collected on the sheet surface just before bringing the metal roll 1 into contact with the rubber roll 2 by the heat collecting member 6. As the decorative sheet S before being provided with the recessed and projected shaping can be heated by setting the distance far from the heater as a heat source, the start of a fire is not feared. Also heating is carried out just ahead of a contact bonding section only, the recess and projection processing can be carried out with good thermal efficiency.
